about my entry

this is my second entry and second panel for 's contest. ^^
the theme is magical.^^

they are true-crystalwolf's original characters luna and sam.
luna can control the element earth and sam can control the element fire.

you may have seen luna before --> [link]
and she had short dark brown hair there but i changed it here because i cant draw the same drawing twice..

since the theme is magical- i drew them with their wings since vargs have wings and they can fly. ^^
i went for celestial bodies.. thus the night sky... ^^
as you can see ,the night sky and that glowing thing where their powers meet,
the colors differ but are equally distributed
there is red/orange for sam and green for luna.
they are actually cousins.. ^^

i drew them with eyes closed because they are supposed to be
communicating not with words but feelings.. ^^
from the heart.. ^^

that red ribbon is a symbol that they are connected
by blood, by race, by power...

and oh! they are cousins by the way.. ^^

the lineart suck, i wasnt able to clean them out good.
shading needs improvement.
that irritating watermark sucks.. lol..
sorry but i had to put it there...
and yes, they're supposed to be like that, skinny with big heads. -nod-
and sam is darker than luna
and yes, those are highlights.. ^^
cool huh?
title sucks.

deciding for the color took me a long time...
i changed their hair a lot of times too..
i really love how it turned..
i really have to thank my teacher in photo editing and animation for this one
since he gave me (and my classmates) a new swatch.. ^^

im sorry for not putting their crest or their accessories...
its just that... i wanted them to be totally naked because
i wanted to show their vulnerability and their purity
their identity as vargs who are magical beings that can control their elements(in human form though)
and their power.. ^^
